Cinnamon Rolls

On Saturday the kids and I went down to my mom's house to make cinnamon rolls to surprise Tyler. As you can see Grant loved being able to help making them.

They included chocolate chips, pecans, and raisins.

Cookie Monster

Yes this is my cookie monster enjoying his very first cookie. Don't worry a promise that I did not give it to him. He literally took it right out of my mouth and put it straight into his without a second thought. I let him eat it long enough for a picture and then took it away, oh boy was he mad. You could almost hear him say, "but Mom, that was soooo good!" This boy loves his food.

Feet

I walked in the room the other day when Hunter was taking a nap and noticed that he had his feet up in the air resting on the bars of the crib. So I took a closer look and found out that he also had his legs crossed. I thought that it was so cute so I took a picture.

Whip cream

This is from Thanksgiving, I know it was a long time ago. We were getting ready to have pie but Grant wanted the whip cream. So Tyler shot it right in his mouth. So this is him eating it just like any true boy.

Cowboy Hunter

Well it is usually cowboy Grant but he decided one day that Hunter should wear his hat. It was really cute and didn't fit to bad, the only thing was that he was so busy playing that he wouldn't stay still long enough for me to take his picture. That is the reason it is all fuzzy, sorry.

Mess Maker

It is amazing what half a piece of chocolate can do isn't? This is him cleaning off his hands on my kitchen towel before I could get a paper towel for him. He might be my little mess maker but I sure do love him.

Sleeping Kids

Grant would not take a nap today so he was so tired that he fell asleep in the computer chair while watching tv. A about a minute after I took this picture his head fell down and was under the arm rest. Oh, how would it be to be able to fall asleep anywhere whenever you want.
Not long after that, about 2 minutes, Hunter fell asleep in my arms. I just love the sleeping pictures they are just so peaceful!!

Headphones

I was looking through my pictures today and saw this second one of Grant listening to music on his daddy's headphones and then remembered a picture from when he was a baby. His daddy was taking a turn watching him and put the headphones on to let him listen to music while he played his computer game. I guess that we started him young liking electronics.

Busy yet getting nothing done

My poor boy, Grant has been pretty sick this week. He has had double ear infections and a sinus infection. We took him to the doctor last week but he was still acting very sick so today I took him to the doctor again today and the good news is the his ears look great but his throat now looks yucky and she is not sure what it is. So if he is not feeling better on Wednesday then I have to take him in for more test. So it has been a busy week taking care of my sick boy and my well boy but my house has not had much done in it lately. On the bright side Grant seems to love his big boy potty and has even used it a few times!!

crappy days

I was giving Grant a bath before church yesterday and noticed that he had pooped in the tub. This is not really something new, for some reason I just can't seem to get him to get out of the tub first. Anyway, I had not washed his hair yet so I took him out, drained the tub, and then cleaned the tub getting ready to put him back in. Well I guess he wasn't finished because I noticed that meanwhile he had pooped on the floor. I headed to start cleaning that up and stepped in a pile that I had not seen. I ended up having to throw away a rug because it couldn't go in the washing machine and was not worth the trouble to clean it up. Then today I was in the other room while Grant was watching Wiggles. All of the sudden Grant walks in without his diaper on. I went in the tv room and he had his pants and diaper sitting on the floor and a pile of poo right next to it. So I guess that I will be trying to start potty training. Wish me luck, I don't really know how to start.

Picture Time

We had a friend in our ward take pictures of the boys. Hunter is up on top and Grant is on the bottom. I think the youngest needs to be first every now and then. It just happens that the person we had take the pictures name was Grant also, so that made it a little confusing sometimes. Just because they didn't know if I was talking to the little one or the big one. They turned out great I am so happy!! Thanks Grant!!

Starting out

Okay I am going to jump on the bandwagon and start a blog. I hope that I can keep it updated, I have to say that is why I haven't started one before. I will definitely try sorry if I am not always good.
