Yes this is my cookie monster enjoying his very first cookie. Don't worry a promise that I did not give it to him. He literally took it right out of my mouth and put it straight into his without a second thought. I let him eat it long enough for a picture and then took it away, oh boy was he mad. You could almost hear him say, "but Mom, that was soooo good!" This boy loves his food.

Cookie Monster
Yes this is my cookie monster enjoying his very first cookie. Don't worry a promise that I did not give it to him. He literally took it right out of my mouth and put it straight into his without a second thought. I let him eat it long enough for a picture and then took it away, oh boy was he mad. Who wouldn't want a cookie. Just teach that boy not to steal it from Mommy though.
Even if he ate the whole thing it probable wouldn't have done him any harm. Remember dad was eating solids from the time he was 3 or 4 months.
